Fun Fest set for August 28
Mark your calendar now and plan to attend Broadway's Fun Fest on the church grounds from 5 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 28. Here are a few photos from the 2009 Fun Fest.
Church picnic September 12
Broadway's annual picnic at the church will follow worship and a building rededication ceremony on Sept. 12.
Church construction expected to continue through summer
Construction to renovate and remodel the Broadway Covenant Church building is expected to continue through August. The capital campaign raised more than $500,000 in pledges, and members approved resolutions providing for a construction loan and construction contract. You can track progress through announcements at church, in The Messenger each month, and on the Construction Corner site. More information

Habitat for Humanity lunches
On July 24 we will make 60 lunches for those working on the Habitat for Humanity houses.
If you would like to donate bread, fruit, chips or cookies, or if you would like to help prepare the lunches, please let Sue Warren know. If you need her contact information, call the church office at 815.399.9296
