Members approve 2011 budget and endowment fund
Broadway members at their Nov. 18, 2010, business meeting approved a 2011 budget and creation of an endowment fund, and heard several reports on church projects and programs. Follow these links for more information on the meeting and endowment fund.

ALPHA course concludes

• Anyone can come -- invite your friends
• Learning and laughter -- non-threatening environment
• Pasta -- enjoy a good dinner
• Helping each other -- caring about each other’s lives
• Ask anything -- no wrong questions

The Alpha course course is a short, practical introduction to the Christian faith and a great learning experience for anyone. Broadway's fall 2010 course concluded Dec. 1. More about Alpha

Skills Camp 2009 photos
Preschoolers through sixth graders have a great time at this week-long, all-day worship and athletic camp at Broadway Covenant. They grow in Christ as they learn new sports skills and hobbies. This year's outreach project was to bring donated items to Horizon House Orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Check out photos from Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday

Game night supports youth for CHIC
Broadway Covenant members and friends on March 20 rolled up donations of more than $600 to support youth who will attend CHIC this summer. Bunco turned out to be a hit for players of all ages. Thanks to all who participated and contributed!

They Made a Difference
Broadway Covenant Men’s Ministry winterized about a dozen cars on Make a Difference Day Oct. 18, 2008, for single or widowed women of the congregation and neighborhood. About 10 participants changed oil, checked tire pressure, replaced air filters, checked fluid levels, and vacuumed interiors of cars. Funding to buy materials came from the men’s Easter breakfast.

Parents' Night Out raises CHIC funds
Youth planning to attend CHIC next summer entertained nearly 20 children, ranging in age from a few months through grade school, during the Nov. 1, 2008, Parents Night Out fundraiser. Parents could leave their children at Broadway between 6:00 and 10:30 p.m., under the care of the youth and adult supervisors.

Fun-Fest 2008
God brought great weather for our Aug. 23 Fun-Fest. Combine that with games, rides, music, food, and prizes, and you get an evening of fun and fellowship for Broadway Covenant members and neighbors. To see a slideshow from the event, click here.

2008 annual meeting action

Following a fellowship supper, Broadway held its annual meeting May 21. In addition to lively debate and God-honoring conversations, highlights include:

• The unanimous calling of Joyce Cosman to be our part-time Minister of Pastoral Care.
• Passing a new Constitution and Bylaws.
